🟠 Blockstream to Launch BTC-Backed Funds
Blockstream is introducing three institutional bitcoin-backed funds, with the Income Fund and Alpha Fund launching on April 1, 2025, and external capital acceptance opening July 1, 2025. The Yield Fund will follow later this year.
- These funds offer BTC-backed borrowing, enabling investors to access liquidity without selling BTC. Blockstream is also expanding into Asia, opening a Tokyo office and partnering with Diamond Hands and Fulgur Ventures to advance Bitcoin layer two (L2) solutions.
