Description
This week, another loss has rocked the country music community. On Monday, March 3, Dolly Parton's husband, Carl Dean, was called home at the age of 82. An official statement reads in part, "Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can't do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy." Understandably, the family is asking for privacy. The couple's love story began in 1964 outside of a laundromat the day Dolly moved to Nashville. They tied the knot two years later with the only witnesses being Dolly's mom, the preacher and preacher's wife. Our hearts breaks for Dolly and her family. We wish them strength and peace during this difficult time.

I'm Sheena, and that's your Music City Minute.
