Traditionally, Florida recruiting has been controlled by three main college football powers: the Miami Hurricanes, Florida State Seminoles, and the Florida Gators. However, Fran Brown appears to be chipping away at Florida's elite prospects like 2025 DB J'Vari Flowers, 2026 WR Calvin Russell and several 2026 defensive lineman and defensive backs. Plus, Syracuse has already secured verbal commitments from 2026 recruits: four-star Jarius Rodgers, four-star Javeion Cooper, and three-star Steven Pickard.
