Dec 7- 2016 Saeed Abedini is an Iranian American Christian pastor, and a former Muslim, who was imprisoned in Iran. He was initially incarcerated and sentenced to eight years in prison, on charges of undermining national security through religious gatherings in Christian homes in Iran. On January 16, 2016, he was released from prison.
