EP 111: He's got the World record in his hands with Justin Kallusky
Greg and Kyle welcome the new world record Mountain Goat holder to the pod. We had the good fortune of meeting Justin Kallusky down in Reno at Sheep Week where he had the new world record Billy scored by a panel of judges from Boone and Crockett.
Justin tells the whole story of his world record hunt including the highs and lows. While on the mountain waiting for this giant goat to make a move Justin was compelled by the beauty of the Stikine Wilderness and penned a couple of inspirational poems which he shares on this cast. He then talks about his stalk on this mountain goat and how he came to claim the world record status with an official B and C score of 60 4/8" crushing the old record by 3 inches.
