No. 1:Facebook 

Facebook was one of the first social networks created. 是最早的社交软件之一，可以说是社交工具的鼻祖了。

It allows people to share messages, status updates with their friends.朋友们之间可以共享信息，并且可以进行状态更新。

Facebook里有很多Facebook groups（群组），在里面可以share posts, news。

梅莉去西班牙后，就加入了西班牙Facebook group，群里面会有人分享the events happening around the city（城市周边正在发生的事件），或者还有apartments that were available to be rented（租房信息），等等。

当你刚到一个新的国家的时候，it can be helpful to join some of these groups（加入一些这种小组会很有帮助）。

No. 2 Instagram

Instagram is a very common media sharing network. 一个相当普遍的分享媒体。

在Instagram上，人们会分享their photos，还有reels which are videos created with sounds（带声音的视频）。

Instagram 上很多图片都很好看，以至于我们都有一个词叫做Ins风，Ins风的照片，Ins风的装修，Ins风的家具设计等等。但是西方人并不会说，什么东西很Ins，他们会用aesthetic（唯美的）这个词来夸图片、视频美。

Ins上有很多网红、明星入驻，you can follow many influencers and celebrities（关注很多网红和明星），并且keep up with their lives（了解他们的生活日常）。

梅莉个人uses Instagram a lot，因为她很享受Ins里的the aesthetic pictures and videos（唯美的图片和视频）。
