上一期的Podcast中，法国人梅莉和翩翩跟大家分享了how to make international friends（如何交国际朋友），今天的节目里，美国女孩Selah会分享一下她在美国的经验，和大家聊一聊，美国人是怎样交朋友的。

1. Selah的交友情况

Selah有4-5 closest friends，这些朋友基本上都是are around her age and stage of life（年龄相近，处于相似的人生阶段）。

Selah和这些朋友，有的是打小就认识，但大多数是in college or after（大学阶段或之后）认识的。

能和这些人成为朋友主要有3个原因：

(1)    他们都处于the same stage of life（相似的人生阶段），going through the same things together（共同经历着相同的事情）。

(2)    Selah has similar interests as them（兴趣相投）, they enjoy doing the same activities together（喜欢一起做同样的活动）. 

(3)    而且，they have similar personalities（有相似的个性），能够make each other better people（让彼此变得更好）。

2. 美国人之间是怎么交朋友的

他们在一起会玩什么？

户外活动：travel, go to new places, go to coffee shops, go thrifting（淘二手货）；

室内活动：cook new recipes（尝试做一种新菜）, play board games（玩棋盘游戏） and watch movies
