The Emperor’s Children are up for Pre-Order now and they are pretty excellent.  There are 6 Detachments and a couple of them seem ready for prime time.  This box set is just a taste as you are more that likely going to want more models to flesh out your collection and take advantage of the new stuff.

Princes will be a thing.  Land Raiders will be a thing,  Rhinos are a thing right now but will be even more so. The Detachments bring a lot of cool things but the base stats of a lot of the units in this book are certainly compelling enough.

There seems to be a couple of notable exceptions from the book in the way of no cultists.  Fulgrim, while being a monster in combat, is a strange one here. He will definitely be a must get but I’m not sure he will make it into every list.

Maybe we’re wrong there but there seems to be a lot of good reason to gravitate to the non Primarch options
