 Today, Larry goes one on onewith Santa Anita    Handicapper Peter Lurie , who discusses and handicaps some of today’s race card, including the $300,000 San Felipe Stakes which offers 50 points to the winner towards a berth in the Kentucky Derby. He also talks about  the $300,000 Santa Anita Handicap for four year olds and why it has always been considered a highlight race of the Santa Anita meet  and also discusses how he became part of the horse racing industry originally and why an industry handicapper.; Thoroughbred Trainer Gerald Bennett, who talks about his horse  Rouki who won a stakes race at Tampa Bay Downs last weekend and  why Rouki is a lesson in patience. He also discusses  his roots to Canadian racing and where it all began  for him in the Thoroughbred industry  and why he eventually moved to the U.S. to train.; Woodbine Trainer John Charalambous, who talks about his three-year-old Scorching who is racing today at Aqueduct in the Gotham Stakes and why he chose theGotham for the first start of the year and is a Kentucky Derby prep. He also talks about how Scorching has been training up  to today and whether the King’s Plate has been circled on the calendar for Scorching. He also mentions how and when he got started in the business and some of the known horsemen he had an opportunity to work for.;

● John talks about today’s Gotham stakes and in particular , his horse Scorching and why he has been entered into a Kentucky Derby prep race. He also talks about Scorching and whether he has matured from last year and whether the King’s Plate remains the end goal for this horse this year He also talks about how Scorching has been training and whether leaving from the rail post position will hinder his chances in today’s race and for our new list
