Try as they might, the Toronto Raptors are probably not going to be drafting in the Top-5 of this year's NBA Draft -- and Sean is here to tell you why that's okay! In Episode 1817, Sean Woodley goes solo for another Toxic Positivity Friday to talk about why it's OK that factors beyond the Raptors control might leave them drafting somewhere in the 6 to 10 range of the draft instead of in the Top-5 like it seemed like they were on track to do to start the year, before a look at prospects Derik Queen and Tre Johnson. Off the top, Sean digs into why the Raptors have given themselves insurance against bad lottery luck with the Brandon Ingram trade, and why a jump into the top-2 is no longer required for the Raptors to move themselves forward, though it'd certainly be awesome, and why the likely outcome of a pick in the 6 to 10 range is by no means a disaster outcome. Next, Sean offers a breakdown of Maryland freshman big man Derik Queen, who's very cool, and has some awesome strengths, even if his fit on the Raptors isn't super clean. Lastly, Sean talks about fast-rising Texas freshman guard Tre Johnson, who's as talented a shot-maker in the draft this side of Ace Bailey, though he's certainly not without question marks of his own.
