Ohio State has overcome a number of obstacles to reach the Championship Game. Some people believed that they were not deserving of a bid to the playoff, and then they dismantled Clemson on their way to the Championship Game.
The Bowl season was what it was as teams under .500 found their way to a Bowl Game. Most of these games were nothing more than an exhibition, as every player will retain their year of eligibility.
