Description
We end Book to Screen April Movie with a film that's more an experience and less a straightforward narrative that not only challenges the audience to think about the American Dream but also how it would feel to go into the depths of a heavy drug binge, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Author Andrew J. Rausch stops by to talk all about Hunter S. Thompson, his effect on both of their lives, and what Doctor Gonzo really stands for.

Starring Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro, the film chronicles the adventures of Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo as they embark upon a drug-fueled odyssey through the surreal wonderland that was '70s Las Vegas. Along the way they encounter some truly one of a kind characters and scenarios that could only come from the mind of Hunter S. Thompson and Terry Gilliam combined.
