Dean of Media and Communications at Texas Tech Dr. David Perlmutter stops to not only program his first episode but also offer some high-level analysis of the film.
Starring Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson, the two play a cop and ex-analyst who live in a post-apocalyptic New York City on the brink of a food shortage due to the ingredients of Soylent suddenly drying up. They stumble upon a secret however so world-altering and sanity-jarring that it could shake up their entire existence if discovered. It's a true gem of a sci-fi thriller.
