We take a break from Mike White May with the first in a series of bonus episodes leading up to the release of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga with a look at the original 1979 Mad Max. Midnight Viewing's Father Malone joins the episode to talk Mel Gibson, George Miller, and what to expect from the franchise as a whole.
Directed by George Miller and starring the aforementioned Gibson, the film follows the titular Max as he attempts to survive in a slightly futuristic wasteland full of Ozzie motorcycle gangs and protect his family from harm. It's a hell of an opening to the popular franchise and one that sets the stage perfectly for things to come.
