[420] Non-Conference Schedule Analysis by Two Top-10 Bracketologists
Published 8 years, 2 months ago
Description
On this week's edition of Assembly Call Radio, our decorated duo of bracketologists analyze Indiana's non-conference schedule -- both in terms of their personal feelings about it, and how it might affect Indiana come March.
On the mics this week: Jerod, Andy, and Coach Tonsoni.
In Segment One (0:28), Jerod talks about the importance of student excitement to Archie Miller's rebuild, and then the guys dive into a discussion about the schedule -- with Andy and Coach using their knowledge of bracketology to assess how the non-conference schedule sets up for Indiana's potential seeding in March.
In Segment Two (17:15), the guys use an ESPN article as a jumping off point for a discussion about the Big Ten pecking order, where Indiana falls in it, and what lightly regarded Big Ten team could surprise people this season.

In Segment Three (24:27), a list of the top 100 players in college basketball from the website 3-Man Weave is discussed. Where do Juwan and Romeo rank? Is it too high or too low? This leads into a conversation about which player will be more important to Indiana's success this season.

And in Segment Four (39:10), we answer your questions:
• So what was up with that picture of Romeo wearing a cast?
• How much should Archie prioritize fringe top-10 in-state players if he has a chance to go after higher-ranked players from out of state?
• Should Indiana go on another overseas trip soon?
• Will Justin Smith get enough playing time this year to keep rising on NBA draft boards?
All of that, and more, on this week's edition of Assembly Call Radio.
