In the early morning hours of February 23, 2022, dispatch in Green Bay, Wisconsin, received a disturbing call. Police quickly reported to the address, where 24-year-old Shad Thyrion lived with his mother and his mother’s boyfriend. His mother pointed police downstairs, where she claimed to have made a horrible discovery in a bucket.
Unfortunately, it was real. Shad had been murdered, and parts of his body were left in the basement, including his head. Shad was a mild-mannered, compassionate man working for his family business and doing woodworking in his spare time. He was a person with no enemies, which only made the brutality of his crime more alarming.
Fortunately, law enforcement quickly got a lead: The very last person that Shad was seen with, his highschool friend and amicable ex-girlfriend, Taylor Schabusiness.
