In this episode, Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement Special Agent Steve Duncan takes us on a journey sharing the life story of Gustavo Rivera, known as El P-1. Gustavo Rivera grew up in Chula Vista, California, and graduated from Bonita Vista High School. After his graduation, he began selling drugs with neighborhood friends. By 1985, he was working with one of the most powerful drug lords in Tijuana, Javier Caro-Payan, AKA El Doctor. Steve Duncan shares some of those cases: the investigation and arrest of Rivera in La Paz, Baja California.
