John Scheinfeld on The Happy Days of Garry Marshall

John Scheinfeld on The Happy Days of Garry Marshall

Published 6 years ago
Description

Today my guest is John Scheinfeld, a director best known for two widely acclaimed feature documentaries: The U.S. vs. John Lennon, which tells the true story of the US government's attempt to silence the beloved musician and iconic advocate for peace and Who Is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin' About Him)?, a compelling yet wildly entertaining documentary about one of the most talented and uncompromising singer-songwriters in pop music history.

I had John on the show today to talk about his latest film The Happy Days of Garry Marshall, a heartfelt tribute to a Hollywood legend. The stars of some of TV and film’s most iconic titles, including “Happy Days,” “Laverne & Shirley,” “Mork & Mindy,” “Pretty Woman” and “The Princess Diaries,” come together to celebrate “The Happy Days of Garry Marshall,” airing TUESDAY, MAY 12 (8:00 – 10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
