Bruce Cassidy afterward said VGK lost every puck battle and called the loss "inexcusable." The Kings meanwhile continued to roll, now 19-3-2 on home ice. Brayden McNabb and Mark Stone scored the goals for VGK. The Golden Knights led 2-1 through two periods before the third period meltdown.
