Today's guest, Martina Gruppo, shares her story of an alcoholic mother that created behaviors in her that then developed into a way of life and it eventually led her to a long term relationship with a man who was a narcissist and the abuse that entailed. For more than a decade, she was manipulated and lied to and accepted torturous forms of psychological abuse doled out because they were served up with a loving smile. She is now an author and shares her experience as an invaluable resource for anyone seeking to understand narcissism and its effects. I personally picked up her book because we had connected so well, I wanted to know more and my word, I can appreciate her work on a level I did not expect.
