Sarah has worked as a teacher, teacher educator, and professor in elementary schools and universities across the United States including the University of Michigan, University of Pittsburgh, Duke University, and Wayne State University. She has a Master's in Language and Literacy from Harvard, and a PhD in Literacy, Language, and Culture from the University of Michigan.
