FED SHOCK MOVE TO HUNT GLAM YOGA-GURU IN LOVE RIVAL'S MURDER

Published 1 year ago
Description

Investigators determine quickly that Moriah "Mo"  Wilson, shot dead at a friend's home"  is not a random target. After a few interviews realize that Wilson's past relationship with Colin Strickland did not sit well with his current girlfriend, yoga instructor and real estate agent, Kaitlin Armstrong.

The day after cops question her, Armstrong unloads her Jeep Grand Cherokee for $12,000 to a CarMax in South Austin, the same jeep that appears on surveillance video in the area where Mo Wilson was murdered, then books a flight the next  day out of Austin.   Eight days after the murder of Wilson, investigators link Kaitlin Armstrong to the murder and a warrant is issued for the arrest  of Kaitlin Armstrong.  And just as the warrant is issued, police realize Kaitlin Armstrong is nowhere to be found

Caitlin Armstrong is captured on surveillance footage at the ABIA - Austin Bergstrom-Internation Airport, boarding a flight bound for Houston then on to New York. After tracking Armstrong to New York's La Guardia airport,  where she is once again captured on surveillance video,  she seems to vanish into thin air.

After tracking Kaitlin Armstrong to the Newark International airport and finding no outbound flghts registered under the name, Kaitlin Armstrong, but had they looked hard enough they might have picked up on the young woman with brown hair flying out of Newark using the passport of her brown haired sister who happens to live in New York.  Checking with Homeland security, they find "Christie Armstrong" traveled out of Newark, New Jersey, International Airport on a one-way flight to Costa Rica

Kaitlin Armstrong landed in in San José. Costa Rica, but didnt’ spend much time there. She quickly disappeared again. A month later, a source says Armstrong could be hiding out in Santa Teresa.  After many intense days of searching  with no luck, the U.S. Marshals decided to try one last tactic. They  put out multiple ads for a  yoga instructor.  After almost a week of hunting,  they get a break.  Someone answers the ad.

Pretending to be a  tourist an investigator goes into a hostel trying to get a good look at the woman. She resembled Kaitlin, but not 100 percent. As he got close to the woman he saw a bandage on her nose and her lips were swollen, but the eyes were the same.  Now investigators know why they have had so much trouble finding Armstrong.  She had been getting plastic surgery.
