There are lots of Fe based concepts that the USMLEs routinely test (Step 1-3). Having a good foundation is very helpful in nailing these questions on your exam. In this first part, the goal is to help you understand this important metal. I also make numerous integrations along the way with certain diseases I will explore in more detail in the next part.
