These chapters are the ones in which we meet Gene, Harry finds out what's going on in his head, and he has to break the news to Karrin. And there's also the suggestion that maybe Harry doesn't actually have any special powers at all, and instead is wearing his body down through overuse due to his inhibitors being turned off. Uh oh!
