Episode Details

I spent some time with an absolute legend for this episode. Iconic reggae artist [Luciano](http://lucianomessenjah.com/) was in town, live and direct from Jamaica, for a performance Aug. 23 at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain. Although I had [interviewed Luciano four or five years ago](http://witchpolice.podiant.co/e/3519538383436eL/), that was over the phone, and this was my first time meeting The Messenger in person. He's an artist with an unbelievably deep catalogue and international acclaim, but he's down-to-earth enough to hang out in a coffee shop for a podcast interview – and to get into some deep thoughts as well. This episode is brought to you by our friends at [The Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/), who are presenting this year's Manitoba Podcast Festival on Sept. 29! It’s also brought to you by [Wildflower Media](http://wildflowermedia.ca/), a local media and graphic design company that specializes in websites and graphic design, especially posters and social media graphics. Listeners to the podcast can get a discount (between 20%-50%) on various Wildflower services by visiting [wildflowermedia.ca/witchpolice](http://wildflowermedia.ca/witchpolice)!
