Ted Alexander is the Chief Historian at Antietam National Battlefield. He is the author, editor and contributor to seven books about Antietam and other aspects of the Civil War. He has also written more than 200 articles and book reviews for publications such as Civil War Times Illustrated, Blue and Gray Magazine, Maryland Historical Magazine and The Washington Times. He lectures frequently for organizations such The Civil War Preservation Trust, Johns Hopkins University's Odyssey Program and The Smithsonian Associates.
