Description
Birth of the Black Underworld is a gripping drama set in the 1930s, directed by award-winning director Matty Rich. The film takes viewers on a fascinating journey into the makings of the Black underworld and the evolving mindsets of a pack of young, would-be gangsters. The story centers around Satterfield Jackson (played by Matty Rich), an orphan taken in by respected Italian mobster Marco Ricci (Frank Stallone), who has ties to both the Italian and Jewish mafias. Marco and Satterfield develop a father-son bond, and Ricci grooms Satterfield for the real world: The Underworld. The film stars Frank Stallone, Jack Scalia, Rhonda Morman, and Matty Rich himself. The movie promises to be a compelling exploration of loyalty, identity, and the complexities of the criminal underworld. For this interview, our show created a customized, original walk-on song to introduce Matty's segment. This is a new feature for each of the show's guest for the new 2025 season of Film Festival Radio. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
