Detroit Pistons trailed behind the Hornets in the first half but staged a remarkable comeback fueled by their shooting from beyond the arc, connecting on 12 of 37 attempts. Jalen Duren was a force on the boards, securing 14 rebounds, further anchoring the team's defensive efforts. Detroit Pistons were playing in first game without Jaden Ivy after he suffered a broken fibula in the last game against the Orlando Magic. The Hornets, despite a strong start including 20 points from Miles Bridges, couldn't hold onto their lead, particularly struggling in the final quarter where they were outscored 13-12. With this win, the Pistons improved their record to 15-18, showcasing their resilience and ability to finish games strong, while the Hornets fell to 7-25. Detroit Pistons play tomorrow against Minnesota Timberwolves in NBA action.
