Struggling Lakers, Ban on Pittsburgh Sports Talk, and Knicks/Hawks with Sarah Tiana

Episode 114 Published 4 years, 10 months ago
Description

Cousin Sal and Dave breakdown last night’s Portland/Denver Game 5 overtime thriller as Damian Lillard takes over but still comes up short. How injuries have affected the NBA playoffs and who comes out of the Western Conference? Plus, can the struggling Lakers still win their series against the Suns (02:00)?

Dave complains about how years ago the New Jersey Devils changed the open ice style of the NHL playoffs and ruined it; until Sal brings him back on track to discuss the upcoming huge Eastern Conference semifinals between the Nets and Bucks as Sal likes the Bucks in 6 (18:15).

Then comedian Sarah Tiana joins the show to discuss the Hawks/Knicks playoff series, Trae Young and the true meaning of saying bless your heart. Dave pitches her a nickname for her group of friends with Megan Gailey and Rachel Bonnetta (28:00).

Sal doesn’t want Primanti Brothers sandwiches and has a better idea for Dave to pay off their Islanders/Penguins bet- but will Dave agree to a temporary ban on Pittsburgh sports talk (46:00)?
