• Owen and Kali have the same type of cancer, thymoma.
• Kali decided to do her own research, take control of her health, and be her advocate.
• Kali found out about her stage 4 cancer two months after having a baby. 
• It all started during Covid; Kali had chest pain and difficulty breathing.
• After going to the emergency room, the doctors found a tumor the size of an orange. 
• The tumor had ruptured, causing immense pain. 
• Eventually, Kali had her diaphragm removed and replaced with mesh. Plus, the doctors stripped her pleural lining and took a little bit of her right lung.
