Good morning, Austin! This is your weather update for the weekend, coming to you from the National Weather Service.
Buckle up for a chilly start to Saturday! We've got a Winter Weather Advisory in effect, with a slight chance of freezing rain early in the morning. Temperatures will hover around a frosty 31 degrees overnight, so make sure to bundle up.
Saturday's looking like a mixed bag. Expect cloudy skies with a high near 42 degrees. There's a slim 20 percent chance of freezing rain before 11 in the morning, transitioning to light rain showers. Winds will be calm, with a gentle northeast breeze around 5 miles per hour.
Saturday night brings a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight, keeping things interesting with cloudy conditions and temperatures dipping to around 38 degrees.
Sunday's forecast is looking brighter! We'll start cloudy but gradually clear up, with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 63 degrees. Perfect day for outdoor activities.
The good news is the week ahead looks fantastic. Monday through Wednesday, we're talking sunshine and warming temperatures. We'll see highs climbing from 73 to 78 degrees, with mostly clear and partly cloudy nights.
By Thursday and Friday, we're maintaining that beautiful sunny trend with highs around 74 to 76 degrees.
