As a result of the final group stage standings, England are the clear favourites to win the tournament— despite 3 lackadaisical and uninspiring performances. However, as it often does for Southgate, the draw massively favours England, who are the favourites to advance from the significantly weaker half— with France, Germany, Spain and Portugal all on the other side. England begin the knockout stages on Sunday against Slokania, while Saturday sees the hosts Germany taking on Denmark.
