With today's 3 PM PT trade deadline looming, the San Francisco Giants have already made a significant splash, sending Jorge Soler and Luke Jackson to the Atlanta Braves. After the deadline has passed, Locked On Giants will publush a full episode breaking down all of the Giants' activity (and potential non-activity), but today's episode focuses on the "Oakland" A's coming to San Francisco for the last time ever.
The A's are set to move to Sacramento for a few years before finally relocating to Las Vegas. They come into town to face a Giants team that will be looking to keep its momentum going after sweeping the Rockies in dominant fashion over the weekend. Oakland has one of MLB's worst records, but they've been on a tear in July and have beat some really good teams. It's possible, though, that they could make some significant selling moves before tonight's game even starts.
