Back to EpisodesLa Liga Season Preview Spectacular Part 2: Messi Chaos, Betting Lines, and Week 1 Games!
Description
The boys are left agape in horror at the unbelievable exit of Lionel Messi to PSG, and the financial chaos that left Barcelona in this sad state, (4:34), before talking generally about their expectations for their somewhat beleaguered superclubs and the state of play in general in Europe as each of Barcelona and Real Madrid had a club legend plucked away over the summer by PSG. Then they get into the jolliest part of the season as they each place their bets on our very own made up betting lines for the upcoming La Liga season. Grab a pencil and play along as both Mark and Payton put their money where their mouths are and pick their over/unders for the season (20:42). Also Mark gets excited for a lip-smacking Week 1 matchup for Real Madrid as they travel to tiny Alaves (53:32), and Payton sees big things for the new blaugrana forwards as they take on Sociedad (1:02:04).
