Joe Magyer is the founder of Seaplane Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based out of Austin, Texas. Previously, Joe was the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Lakehouse Capital in Sydney, and Director of Research at The Motley Fool Australia. He also ran one of the USA's most successful investing newsletters, Inside Value.

In this conversation with Owen Rask on The Australian Investors Podcast, Joe shares his journey taking the leap across oceans and asset classes, from global equities to early-stage venture capital -- during a rising interest rate environment!
