In the early hours of September 13th, 2016, a woman we will only know as Jane Doe, loosened the clothes that were used to bind her hands and legs, found her captor’s phone, and quietly called 911.
When the 911 dispatcher answered, Jane Doe, whispered that she was lying next to the man that had abducted her and was holding her hostage. When asked if she knew the name of her kidnapper, Jane Doe replied Shawn Grate.
When police interviewed Grate, he confessed to more than just kidnapping.
