Mayor Val has lived in Langley City for over 20 years and understands the value of local government and community service. Her compassion for people is demonstrated in her 20 years of experience in public safety while working for local and federal RCMP, Corrections agencies, and as an RCMP Auxiliary Constable for many years. She has a clear view of what is needed to address community issues.

For 39 years, my husband and I, along with our kids and now our grandkids, have enjoyed all that Surrey has to offer, from its parks and sports fields to recreational facilities and arts and cultural opportunities.
