In this episode, we dive into our top three choices for caliber selection for new shooters for both hunting and long range competition.  We take into consideration that in a lot of cases we are talking to new or newer shooters that are often overwhelmed with information that can be good, bad or even opinions, based on no experience in the subject in which they are offering advice.  Usually with no bad intentions, but repeating what they have heard or read from others that is sometimes accepted as the gospel truth.   We try to give this advice as if you are our friend, setting across the table and asking us for our honest unbiased opinion.  We share not just our selection, but how we made our choices and the criteria we used.  We hope this helps you with some alternative choices with caliber selection for getting into this type of shooting.
