In Week 11 of the 2021 NFL Season the Washington Football Team defeated the Carolina Panthers, 27-21. WFT won its second straight game propelled by a career best performance from quarterback Taylor Heinicke, and impressive defensive efforts from safety Kam Curl and linebacker Cole Holcomb.
The story might have been about Cam Newton's return to Charlotte, and his reunion with Washington head coach Ron Rivera, but leaving the contest, the talk was all about Heinicke, and the back-to-back wins his team has now put together since coming out of the bye week.
