Washington Commanders Phidarian Mathis and Cam Sims Miss Practice | Starters Limited vs Ravens

Episode 1079

Washington Commanders wrapped their second to last practice ahead of their preseason matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Missing, along with pads, were defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis and wide receiver Cam Sims. It was discovered later that Mathis is dealing with leg soreness stemming from Tuesday's practice, and Sims is in concussion protocol following the hit he took prior to his touchdown catch against the Kansas City Chiefs.

After practice, head coach Ron Rivera revealed his starters would play very limited snaps in the final preseason contest, and we hear from two Commanders fans asking if offensive coordinator Scott Turner is what his reputation says he is, and reacting to the news that Sonny Jurgensen's number will be retired this season.
