The Washington Commanders traded cornerback William Jackson III to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the day the NFL's trade deadline arrived.
In return, the team will get a future draft pick and moves on from arguably the worst free-agent contract in recent Washington memory.
Then, there were plenty of moves made at the deadline, but none that seemed to have separated the competition in the NFC Playoffs race.
