We are onto episode 7 of The Way Home and The Spencer Sisters. The two series continue to go in opposite directions. The Way Home seems to be getting more convoluted, but not in an interesting way. We are struggling to connect with any of the characters. Well the characters we are supposed to be interested in. As a result, we are becoming apathetic versus intrigued by the twists.
However, when we switch over to The Spencer Sisters, it is precisely the opposite. Episode 7, The Lawyer's Lament, maybe the best one of the series so far. And the bar is high. Unlike TWH, we are totally invested in the characters and their relationships. We enjoy seeing their characters grow and their relationships evolve.
