True worship isn’t about appearances, it’s about the heart. As the Ark of the Covenant enters Jerusalem, David rejoices with unrestrained joy, while Michal watches from the window in contempt. One heart is captivated by God’s presence, the other is consumed by pride. This passage challenges us: are we worshippers or spectators? Do we seek God’s glory or human approval? True worship might look foolish to the world, but it brings life and joy. The question is, will we stand with David in celebration, or with Michal in criticism? The choice is ours.
