Reflecting on the work of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has inspired me to look at the Divine Attributes of The Judge and Justice. In a world that seems unfair and unjust, we are compelled to strive for justice and equality. And yet, we each have unique viewpoints of what is just and equitable. At the same time, most of us want to believe there is Divine Perfection in a Divine Orchestration of events that play out in this earth realm for a Divine Purpose that encompasses all of our lives. In today’s Prayer & Healing Circle, we’ll look at the teachings on the Divine Names of The Judge (Al-Hakam) and The Just (Al-Adl), and how they can help us make sense and order from the information that can otherwise overwhelm us and put us into a tailspin. These Attributes can help us find the place inside where the pain of injustice meets the knowing of Divine Mercy.
