Description
When it comes to food, our culture loves excess and complexity. Our bodies, however, do not thrive on those philosophies. Our bodies cannot optimize digestion when the stomach is overfilled or when we eat too many different types of foods that do not digest well together.
Excessive and elaborate eating are forms of waste. We are taking from the planet beyond what we can use, and using what we take in ways that our bodies can’t use – it makes our bodies sick.
It’s a conditioned misalignment and disharmony between mind and body.
Embracing a mindset of simplicity and sufficiency – simple combinations and knowing when we’ve had enough – can have transformative effects on our bodies, and also our minds, hearts, and spirits.
In this week’s Meditation & Healing Circle, we call into consciousness our conditioned food choices and eating habits and seek to release the conditioning that does not serve the health of the body, heart, spirit, and the planet.
