In Episode 1189, Sean Woodley brings back last week's smash hit "Mid-Level Madness" format to discuss some more potential Toronto Raptors free agency targets with their $10.3 million mid-level exception, chosen of course by the powers of the bedazzled hat containing a whole bunch of names. Off the top, Sean talks about one of his personal favourite mid-level targets, Phoenix Suns center and mercenary backup for all sorts of recent contenders, JaVale McGree. Frankly, if you don't want McGee on the Raptors, you should be the one on Shaqtin' a Fool. The next name from the hat is Mo Bamba, who offers much more youth than McGee, as well as a fledgling three-point stroke, but how do you separate a guy like Bamba from the stink of the Orlando Magic? Next out of the hat is Bryn Forbes, most recently of the Denver Nuggets, who might be the best three-point shooter on the market, period, but does his lack of defensive ability make him something of a rich man's Matt Thomas? Then, Sean makes the case for and against Gary Harris, whose defense and shooting would be an awesome addition to the Raptors, if only he can stay on the floor. Lastly, Sean talks about Minnesota Timberwolves win Tauren Prince, who has always seemed like a better player than he actually has been. Could the Raptors turn him into a dependable role player? All that, plus an NBA Finals preview with 7-time NBA champion Robert Horry on Locked On Sports Today as he tees up the Boston Celtics tilt with the Golden State Warriors.
