VGK had another third period meltdown Thursday night. This time is was a four-goal third period by the Calgary Flames in the latest Golden Knights loss 4-1. This was a Calgary team that gave up 18 goals during a three-game losing streak coming into the game. VGK has been giving up third period goals in bunches in the third period of late, especially to non-playoff teams. Again the Golden Knights were plagued by poor defense and shotty goaltending. VGK heads into the weekend with a four point lead over Minnesota for the final playoff spot. We preview VGK vs New Jersey in the Sunday, St. Pat's Matinee.
