It looks as though Mitch Marner is being made out to be the scapegoat in Toronto after another early playoff exit. The Maple Leafs might look to unload Marner and his nearly $11-million a year salary with one season remaining on his current contract. The rumor mill has been cooking with Marner's name mentioned in trades with Nashville, Columbus, Anaheim, Edmonton, Pittsburgh and Chicago. We believe Marner has a no-move clause so he will choose which deal would make the most sense. one proposed trade would put the 100-point player in Las Vegas in a deal for Shea Theodore and this year's VGK first-round pick.
