For at least the past couple of years, there have been rumors about VGK trying to acquire veteran superstar Patrick Kane, the three-time Stanley Cup Champion. Prior to signing with the Detroit Red Wings this past season, Kane's name was linked to the Golden Knights. It is believed he didn't want to venture west due to the tougher travel schedule.
