The Golden Knights added six-year NHL veteran Victor Olofsson to their roster Tuesday. Olofsson comes to VGK as a free agent, formerly of the Buffalo Sabres. He could slot in on the third line with fellow Swede William Karlsson or be reunited with former Sabres linemate Jack Eichel. Olofsson had a career high of 40 points during the 2022-23 season. But he netted just seven goals this past season and was buried on the fourth line due to a number of player injuries in Buffalo. VGK signed Olofsson to a one-year bridge deal.
